VIDEO: Special update on Tropical Lows + NZ’s (dry) rainfall outlook

Drier than average weather is about to set in across the entire country as La Nina lows bubble up right across northern Australia and the tropics north of NZ.

There are a couple of cyclone risks (although NZ’s risk has diminished in the past two days) but the main headline may be just how dry it’s about to become for some places.

We take a special look at rainfall in the NZ area for the next half month.

Very informative but worrying as West Auckland is so dry. I am a gardener & am getting very worried about the long term outlook & it’s effect on the Waitakere Ranges, horticulture x& farming. I wonder when we can expect rain in the next 3 months.
