Severe gales, subtropical winds, polar air, mountain snow and widespread frosts are all in the forecast for the coming days ahead – including some sunny, dry, weather as well!

A cold front is moving up NZ today and tomorrow with gales and warm, windy, nor-westers – followed by a colder south to south-west flow.

This weekend high pressure briefly moves through – bringing another surge of windier weather as it departs, and yet another cold front behind it all.
