A sub-tropical low north of NZ is bringing rain into the upper North Island for Wednesday as a weak cold front comes into the lower South Island.
In Australia a huge area of high pressure is developing and will stretch 8000km west to east by early next week as it tries to cross NZ bringing fairly settled weather here.
Meanwhile eastern Australia is lining up for some very wet weather this coming weekend and into next week.
Damaging wind gusts and heavy rain will continue to affect some parts of the North Island and brushing Marlborough today…
