VIDEO: High pressure increasing here as tropics start waking up

We still have some unsettled weather this week but a number of regions have more days that are settled and calm than they do stormy or wet.

High pressure expands further around NZ over the coming week, but at the same time the tropics is becoming much more energetic with lows growing and even the chance of a tropical cyclone over the Coral Sea.

We have your New Zealand forecast through to Monday of next week.
