VIDEO: High pressure in charge, who gets the showers & wind between now & Sunday

High pressure is controlling NZ’s weather this week and coming weekend, but there are still some windy and wet areas in the mix, but compared to previous weeks and months this week is very settled for most.

Most regions are drier than usual over the next 7 days with a lack of frosty weather too as warmer airflows come into the mix, both from north of NZ and out of Australia.

The polar boundary will, for the first time in months, remain south of NZ all week.
