High pressure is coming in for November’s first week, finally bringing a break in the gales and heavy rain for the entire nation.
Despite the high there will be some showers above, mainly in the upper North Island this weekend.
Frosts are mostly South Island focused and increasingly becoming more alpine, especially as milder airflows come into New Zealand next week.
We briefly cover the Melbourne Cup next week in Victoria, and update you on the windy weather expected today in some parts of NZ before our November anticyclone arrives.
