Downpours & Thunderstorms possible late week in dry regions

Showers increase this week, along with the warmth in most regions, with thunderstorms or at least downpours likely at times here and there, but more likely on Friday and Saturday as weak low pressure crosses the North Island.

The West Coast has heavy rain this week, with over 400mm possible.

Strong winds are still in the mix today too through central NZ, but they ease back tonight.

We bring down the temperature shifts, rainfall and air pressure across November’s first week and weekend.

Also, thanks to Farmlands, we have animated North Island and South Island 7 day rainfall maps to make sense of it all.
