Heavy rain, heavy snow and severe gales are coming to NZ off and on for the next week ahead, with two main surges this week – Wednesday and Friday.
The main front today is crossing NZ but the windy SW change kicks in properly on Wednesday – especially for the western North Island and Auckland.
Thursday sees windy westerlies in most regions and a degree or two milder (gales also for VIC and TAS in Australia). Friday we get the next surge of severe gales, heavy rain and snow.
