New Zealand is seeing high pressure cross over us in the next few days, before sliding out east of the country this weekend. This means more frosty weather is coming, as far north as Auckland and maybe Northland (only light that far north). Frosty weather remains over the South Island, although less-so in coastal areas.
As the high shifts east this weekend northerlies will develop – becoming subtropical next week.
Next week it looks likely that rain and weather from the west will start to return.
