VIDEO: Australia-only 7 Day: Wet easterly vs cold southerly

Wet weather and windy easterlies for eastern Australia along with colder southerlies in the south makes for some changeable weather over the coming 7 days in many of Australia’s main centres.

Brisbane looks to be wettest, but those in the south have a cold change today and tomorrow – but a much more gruntier one next week which may see snow over Tasmania’s mountains and into the Alps too potentially.

However rainfall isn’t widespread beyond the east, FNQ and the south-east.

Places like Perth enjoy a cool down but, sadly, without much of the wet stuff.

We have your 7 day forecast, your 7 day Australia Rainfall Map plus the Place of the Day today is Darwin as the weather forecast there looks hot but mostly dry.
