Hot weather will give way to cooler, or more refreshing, weather by the end of this week as a southerly flow arrives, but it will be ahead of more westerlies for the nation.
As Phil explains, NZ is smack bang halfway between La Nina weather to our north and polar storms to our south. It’s bringing spring-like weather (changeable, sometimes windy) but with summer temperatures.
We show you the highs and lows, calm and windy days, over the next week ahead.
We also touch on the tropical depression which may become a tropical cyclone this weekend near Vanuatu.
