Frosty weather is expanding this weekend with perhaps some of the coldest overnight weather the North Island has had so far this year – as much of the cold air has remained over the South Island this winter.
High pressure isn’t really perfectly over NZ though – so we will see some showers here and there.
By the middle of next week high pressure may be over us, while storms may be possible both north of NZ and south of Australia – showing that things might change later next week.
