Between highs & lows this week, cold Sunday possible

NZ is in between weather systems this week, generating different wind flows on different days and driving in a few showers. Frosts are still possible but they are mostly at the start of this week and mainly through the South Island’s interior and around the Central Plateau.

Northerly quarter winds again kick in this week for a time, with a potential switch to a colder southerly around Sunday – although modelling is not yet locked in for this.
