High pressure is in control for the rest of March bringing drier and warmer than usual weather to many regions – but the southern half of the South Island has best chances of rain and temperature fluctuations, especially with a cold front arriving on Thursday which moves up the nation on Friday.
High pressure comes back in for the weekend – although there are showers here and there.
We discuss the big picture and what may be driving New Zealand’s weather going into April.
