Spring winds come back on Saturday in the lower South Island with possibly damaging gales brushing some areas – and blustery west to north west winds up through the Southern Alps, Cook Strait and the lower North Island.
Some rain and showers are also in the mix.
Sunday sees winds easing and a cooler SW flow moving in.
Monday may have a few inland downpours and thunderstorms.
Next Wednesday all eye are on a low out in the Tasman Sea – some modelling suggests it could bring a storm to NZ, while other say high pressure may win. While it’s not yet locked in, we have some of the latest maps for you.

Hi, any chance you could put the date of your broadcast please? I don’t know what day you started each broadcast. Keep up the good work. thanks

Hi Des, the date should be at the top of the page it is on… also on the Homepage it should also show the date just under the thumbnail photo/screenshot of the video. Let us know if you cannot find them – as we may need to make it clearer. Thanks for the kind support too! 🙂
