VIDEO: Aussie 7 Day: Wet weather and westerlies to replace high pressure

Rain and showers are back in the forecast for very dry parts of Australia – especially one week from now as we head towards June. In today’s Australia’s weather video we take a closer look at where the high pressure belt is moving to and what that means for those in south-eastern Australia.

Not everyone will get the rain relief they so desperately need – but the wetter change will be welcome by many. It’s not a major shift back to wet weather, but it is great to see the stubborn high pressure zones of May finally break off as we head into early June.

We have your 7 day rainfall forecast and The Place of the Day (due to the cool geographical shapes and shadows at sunrise) is The Simpson Dessert in NT, SA and QLD.
