Rain, showers, frosts – then windy again

In true early-spring fashion we have more windy weather on the way, but first low pressure is crossing the country bringing pockets of rain and showers over today and Friday.

Over the weekend we shift to a showery set-up with large dry areas, especially eastern sides of NZ. This change also comes with windy weather, with severe gales possible this weekend in both main islands for a time.

Next week – more westerlies and an approaching high pressure system, but with that comes another burst of polar air that may go nationwide mid-next week.
