The unsettled westerly driven weather pattern continues – although a subtropical flow for the upper North Island brings northerlies and some rain today and tonight and into Wednesday.
Later this week more windy westerlies return with polar air – especially central and southern NZ.
Monday next week kicks off with a polar change and more windy south-westerlies – but this may be ahead of a high pressure zone for the first of October.
