NZ has a fairly messy forecast over the next 7 days, but the main feature will be heavy rain on the West Coast this Friday and Saturday, with some spillover into the western North Island.

Showers affect most regions at some point, although eastern areas of both main islands have the lower rainfall totals generally speaking.
