Weather Video: High pressure building, then big Tasman low by Sunday & Monday

A cooler SW air flow covers most if not all of New Zealand for Tuesday with heavy showers easing and dry spells increasing.

By Wednesday winds shift more westerly and showers become light and mostly isolated to the western side of NZ.

Over Thursday to Saturday high pressure rolls in across New Zealand bringing mostly sunny, dry, calm weather with temperatures average to maybe even warmer than average due to a light nor’easter developing.

By Sunday a sub-tropical nor’east should cover much of NZ with warmer than average conditions, strong winds developing in exposed areas and late rain spreading from the north.
