Severe weather risks continue around NZ’s two main islands for the rest of Friday and going into Saturday, before conditions ease on Sunday and going into the start of next.

Next week kicks off with incoming high pressure and some colder air around the South Island – but it’s likely ahead of more sub-tropical winds and rain/showers from another large low engulfing much of the Tasman Sea.
