A repeat performance is on the cards weather-wise this weekend as another sub-tropical low moves in.

Yet again the rain may be 50/50 for some northern areas, but the odds of rain falling are just a little bit higher than last weekend.

By Sunday windier weather kicks in for many northern areas while the South Island has calmer, drier, weather for the most part.
