While it was a mild morning for many it’s not an overly warm day across New Zealand at this stage.

Temperatures in the South Island remain mostly under 12 degrees with Kaikoura the warmest centre in the South on 14 this hour.   Christchurch has jumped from -1 to 11 degrees in just 3 hours.  In the North Island it’s warmer but not as warm as previous days.  The warmest place is Auckland currently on 15.
