VIDEO: Some (brief) high pressure coming, but the weekend goes downhill again for some

Some drier, more settled, weather is coming late week for a number of regions – but it won’t hang on long as we go into the weekend thanks to the next incoming cold front. This will bring a burst of potentially damaging winds for some, and more western rain/showers.

The westerly driven pattern still looks set to remain for the rest of the month – and in our video update tomorrow/Thursday we aim to take the first sneak peek at the Labour Weekend forecast (which looks a bit unsettled at this stage, probably no surprises there!).

We cover the NZ forecast out to Monday of next week.
