We track the forecast for Christmas Day but before then more humid downpours are coming across large parts of NZ.

There’s a mixture of drizzle, showers, patchy rain and heavy downpours – along with some long dry spells going into next week. It won’t be raining nonstop for everyone – even though some long range forecasts sure look that way.

Australia has a big easterly flow coming up for many places with some wet weather here and there – nothing too major showing up.

In the tropics – no major storms either, but some low pressure and the usual showers and thunderstorms.
