Large parts of NZ will enjoy drier and more settled weather today and Thursday, ahead of windier nor-westers followed by a cold front on Friday (South Island) and Saturday (North Island).

By Sunday polar air covers the country – but in spring style mild weather is in the mix, and likely to bounce back for some again next week.
