Warmer air is slowing moving down the country over the days ahead and should affect most of NZ by next week as low pressure moves in from the Tasman Sea.
High pressure is now centred more south of NZ and that encourages milder airflows and low pressure further northwards, although it also means southern NZ may get some cold snaps in the weeks ahead.
We track the lows, highs and wet/dry weather for the next week ahead.
