VIDEO: Low pressure for northern NZ, sub-tropical winds for many

It’s a cold week for NZ this week but sub-tropical winds are moving in this Friday and weekend to a number of regions as low pressure forms around the North Island. Yes, some rain is on the way – but the rainfall totals aren’t huge for most places. Fiordland looks to be the wettest.

In Australia high pressure dominates but showers and cooler winds brush the southern and eastern coastlines.
