The end to summer has been one of the hottest and driest periods in recent memory in some parts of the country – so we wanted to know how it was affecting New Zealanders everywhere.

In our latest poll we asked whether our readers were noticing things getting drier where they were – and the answer seems to be a resounding yes.

65% of those who voted said it was getting drier where they are, with just 8% saying it was getting wetter – while 28% answered there was ‘no change’ to conditions.
