With winter taking its sweet time getting started, temperatures have remained relatively high right through most of June, and continue to, in some parts of New Zealand.

We’ve had a lot of correspondence from concerned kiwis, wondering if these temperatures are a sign of things to come – or if this year is simply an outlier – and what it all means for our seasons.

We want to know how many of our readers and weatherwatchers are concerned by the temperatures this winter – and how many view this as part of the natural order of things.
