Monday is another windy and colder day for a number of regions, but high pressure will try this week to move in, and will bring a break in winds (to some regions) and largely drier weather.

But the West Coast and Southland are still exposed to the bulk of the showers, while central NZ (ie, Cook Strait area) and through the Southern Alps may still have some windy weather.
