Your NZ forecast through to King’s Birthday Monday

High pressure continues to control NZ’s weather but a change to wet weather and low pressure is expected during the long weekend, or by the start of next week.

This week has frosts, fog patches and a few showers as high pressure zones continue to move over the country slowly.

By Sunday and Monday of next week a large low is expected in the Tasman Sea, bringing milder subtropical northerly quarter winds to NZ, with the chance of thunderstorms and some heavy rain, and stronger winds.
