We’ve been looking at our web-stats and we’ve noticed a recent big jump in visitors from Wellington (and a jump in fantastic photos sent in from the Wellington region).
It’s great to have so many from the Capital joining our site – and we hope to provide better coverage from around Wellington – your photos and comments will help with this.
We’ve also noticed a rise in visitors from Christchurch and across the South Island.
While our weather forecasting trial is still Auckland only, WeatherWatch.co.nz is definitely a weather news website for all New Zealanders.

Your site will continue to be a success as long as your team keeps its communication via comment replies etc.. which you cannot get anywhere else. But by the same token you do not want to be too big or you will be harrased with too many comments (some pointless) and not have enough time to work on what you are good at.
