Very settled on Sunday thanks to a large high, only a weak trough may bring a few showers to East Cape then Coromandel / Auckland from afternoon.

Temperatures will be warmer getting into the low to mid twenties for most, perhaps late twenties for some inland areas and this continues on into Monday.

Northland may have a morning shower from the trough mentioned for Sunday as it brushes by.

Very warm on Monday reaching into the mid to late twenties for many, perhaps even cracking 30 for some inland spots.
