Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Any morning cloud breaks away then mostly sunny with gentle southwesterly winds. Late afternoon / evening isolated showers possible for Northland. Winds may tend northwest in the afternoon about the Bay Of Plenty.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any morning cloud breaks away then mostly sunny, west to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 25-27

Eastern North Island
Sunny and hot, afternoon easterly winds.
Highs: 29-31

Any morning cloud clears, sunny with northerly winds.
Highs: 25-26

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny and hot, north to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 30-32

Sunny and hot, afternoon easterly breezes.
Highs: 28-31

West Coast
Rain about South Westland eases to showers in the afternoon then clearing later in the evening. North Westland sees sunny areas, cloud increases in the evening. West to northwesterly winds.

Southland & Otago
Cloudy areas, some sun at times mainly inland. Chance of a shower about Southland in the morning then Otago in the afternoon. Light winds tending onshore in the afternoon.
