Wednesday Newsfeed: Incoming high eases eastern showers

High pressure is moving in from the Tasman Sea, bringing mostly dry and settled weather for the second half of the week. However showers and drizzle will continue along the eastern side of NZ, especially the South Island for Wednesday and then more so for the North Island’s east on Thursday. It’s dry elsewhere (other than maybe a drizzle patch or two).

It’s possible we might see a few isolated heavy downpours as daytime heating kicks in – and maybe a thunderstorm or two in central/eastern parts of NZ on Wednesday.

And that’s about it… !
