She’s officially an “ex-cyclone”, but Pam is still packing a punch as she passes by our eastern coastline today – despite losing a lot of power and shape in the journey between the tropics and us.

Great Barrier Island was knocked around but the system missed our largest city, though the rest of the day will feature some damaging winds along the East Cape.
