It’s been a long time coming but finally some wintry weather is moving in across the country after a warm month.

July kicks off with a nationwide south to south west change on Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures will drop and snow will fall on ski fields in both islands.

Hail will also fall in a number of regions.

Conditions ease somewhat this weekend but another front is still likely to move up the nation then.
