High pressure dominates this week but we still have plenty of showers in the forecast in the days ahead.
Some afternoon showers may be heavy due to daytime heating.
Generally speaking high pressure affects the country but isn’t centred over us – so we have wind flows that shift around and showers coming in for a time, especially in the west.
