VIDEO: Southern high pressure vs northern low pressure

New Zealand has frosts for the first time this year in the south while showers and colder sou’easters affect the North Island. This set-up remains all week and doesn’t fall apart until the weekend – when another injection of cooler air moves in to the south.

Australia has heavy rain around Victoria but lower totals elsewhere.
