VIDEO: More heavy rain & thunderstorms – but high pressure is coming

We track more thunderstorms & heavy rain in the North Island and upper South Island today – and look for rain for Southland which needs it most.
We also show how the low in the Tasman Sea is about to transfer to the Pacific Ocean and rapidly deepen into an offshore storm.
In Australia – rain returns to both the east and west coasts.
