We have a potential heatwave forming in the South Island while the North Island is entering into a very dry phase for the rest of November.

There may be a few isolated downpours through inland parts of both islands this weekend and early next week but outside of that it looks mainly dry or completely dry.

The only exception is the West Coast where some rain will fall – but more dry spells than recent weeks.
