VIDEO: High pressure is about to dominate – but some exceptions

We have the forecast for NZ, Australia and the South Pacific through to Wednesday next week as tropical lows try to form and high pressure dominates in the Tasman Sea – bringing settled weather finally to south eastern Australia and a surge of hot weather next week.

That means NZ will be going the other way, with a slightly cooler change moving in this weekend for some areas (those in the north are least impacted).

We track the remaining gales, thunderstorms and rain – and focus on where the large settled areas will be.
