NZ has more ups and downs this week with Wednesday cooler nationwide but Thursday looking a little milder.

By Friday another surge of colder air moves northwards with high pressure coming in behind it for Saturday – especially in northern NZ.

The high this weekend will be northern focused, encouraging milder westerlies to return to southern NZ.
