High pressure is partially going to cover NZ this week, but a stormy Southern Ocean means we’re still going to get some wet weather chances, along with bursts of wind.

However the next 7 days do look more settled for most places compared to the past couple of weeks.

Many places should notice a lift in temperatures, both day and night, over the next week and severe weather chances reducing.

Despite the high pressure zones it is still a changeable forecast – we have the latest forecast out to the start of next week.
