Staying settled on Friday

A large, slow moving high pressure system is sitting over the country on Friday, leading to a calm, settled and clear day for most of the country.

There will be areas of cloud about in many regions, but western parts of the North Island are in for the best of the conditions.
There is the risk of a lingering shower sticking around in the far north, with eastern parts of Northland in for an afternoon shower or two.
