RainWatch – Showers mostly in the east on Thursday

A southwesterly airflow brings showery conditions mostly to eastern regions on Thursday, even then they are quite coastal in nature. A few lingering showers about Auckland clear in the afternoon then clearing Northland in the evening (although the odd one may persist about western Northland). Southland and Otago has showers for most of the day, northern parts of Otago are mainly dry.

On Friday conditions are dry in the east and the odd shower starts to move into western areas, this pattern continues through till Monday. A southerly airflow may bring a few showers in the east on Tuesday next week.
