In the North Island showers around Northern Hawke’s Bay, Mahia Peninsula Gisborne and East Cape will ease today and gradually clear up.

In Auckland and remaining showers are now clearing the north west of the region, a couple isolated showers may remain this morning.

In the Northland region showers are affecting mainly the western side of the region but the odd shower is possible for much of the day – but will also clear this afternoon.

Overnight tonight a couple of showers may affect Southland and Otago and some rain moves back into Fiordland.
