Many places will become warmer over the next few days, ahead of a cold change mid to late week.

Windy nor’westers will turn colder sou’west this week, with low pressure also forming around the upper North Island late week, bringing some further northern rain or showers.

High pressure tries to move over NZ this week but is mostly to our north – meaning more westerlies blowing through.
