Powerful high pressure is moving over New Zealand not only for this weekend but possibly for the next couple of weeks. Mid-next week there may be some changes with more of a northerly quarter airflow moving in, but many regions still look dry.
There will be a few showers here and there – but the main risk will be around Northland and Fiordland.
Fog and low cloud can also be expected in the usual places when the winds are calm.
*Programming Note:
We have no video update on Friday due to the quiet weather.
